DiscipleShips is a religious organization whose goal is to equip, empower and connect the body of Christ in isolated/hard to reach places of the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ, His mercy and discipleship.
There are people all over the world who are by their geography cut off from the rest of the world. These people are included in Jesus’ mandate (Matthew 28:18-20) :
“And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.'”
These people have the right to know the love, mercy, and discipleship of Jesus Christ. In these places, islands and coastal places that are off the beaten path, there are no airports and no roads to travel there.
The Good News and love of Jesus Christ
Educate the local people with the Good News of Jesus Christ by teaching the Bible overview and studying the Bible through the inductive method with them.
Mercy ministry
To show God’s mercy to the local community by helping them with what they would like to see changed in their community, like basic health care/hygiene, building projects, disaster assistance, counseling and praying for them.
Discipleship
Discipleship by walking alongside the local people and the people on the vessel, by pointing them to depend on the Holy Spirit and the Bible in everything they do, through learning from each other by listening, sharing knowledge and praying.
